Native wildflowers are naturally slow to germinate, therefore loosely scattered seed can often be eaten by ants, birds and mice. Seedball solves this problem by encasing the seed in a protective ball of clay, compost and chilli. Seed balls are also incredibly easy to use – simply scatter on top of soil or compost (no digging required!) and nature will do the rest.
The original Seedball Tin, made from British tin plate and manufactured by the last tin can maker of London. Each contain 20 seed balls (coverage for 1m2), and make for a beautiful high-quality gift!
Our standard seed balls available are butterfly mix and bee mix. Others may be available on request.
Branded Seedball Tins contain 20 seed balls. The seed balls are made with clay, compost, chilli and wildflower seeds. Presented in quality UK made tins with a branded sticker.
